Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Tile Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with tile installation projects, ensuring precise craftsmanship, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. Your expertise will contribute to transforming spaces through expert tile laying, flooring installation, and restoration work. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in construction and flooring while working on diverse projects that challenge and inspire. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces for tile installation by cleaning, leveling, and applying necessary adhesives or primers. Lay tiles accurately according to blueprints, schematics, and project specifications, ensuring proper alignment and spacing. Use hand tools and power tools such as tile cutters, saws, drills, and caulking guns to complete installations efficiently. Assist with flooring installation, including underlayment preparation, grout application, and finishing touches. Support restoration projects by repairing water damage, removing old flooring or tiles, and restoring surfaces to their original condition. Read blueprints and schematics to interpret project requirements accurately. Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools, disposing of debris, and ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times. Qualifications Prior experience in construction site work or tile laying is highly preferred. Knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, and schematic interpretation. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, caulking techniques, trim carpentry, and fixture installation. Experience in flooring installation, water damage restoration industry or related fields is a plus. Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy materials, standing for extended periods, and working at heights if required. Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality craftsmanship. Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately.
