Job Overview Join our dynamic team at Premier Turf as an Artificial Turf Team Member and be a vital part of creating pristine, sustainable outdoor spaces! In this energetic role, you'll be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing artificial turf surfaces to ensure they meet the highest standards of quality and safety. Your enthusiasm and skill set will help transform sports fields, putting greens, commercial properties, and recreational areas into vibrant, durable environments. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop hands-on skills in grounds maintenance while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting. Duties Assist in the installation of artificial turf, including surface preparation, leveling, and securing materials using hand tools and power tools Maintain existing turf surfaces through regular cleaning, brushing, and infill redistribution to ensure longevity and optimal appearance Operate equipment such as compactors, blowers, and small excavators to support site preparation and upkeep Follow safety protocols diligently during all phases of installation and maintenance to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment Requirements Prior experience installing artificial lawn turf and putting green applications preferred. Mechanical knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment such as excavators or skid steers Ability to operate grounds maintenance equipment safely and efficiently in various weather conditions Knowledge of safety protocols related to outdoor work environments and equipment operation Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills in turf installation. Physical stamina to perform manual labor involving lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating machinery as needed. Must have reliable transportation.
