In this role, you will be responsible for the precise installation of granite and other stone countertops in residential and commercial settings. Your expertise will ensure that each project meets high standards of quality, safety, and craftsmanship. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilize a variety of tools, and contribute to transforming spaces with beautiful, durable surfaces. Starting pay depends on previous experience and knowledge. Responsibilities Measure, cut, and install granite countertops according to blueprints, schematics, and project specifications Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently Read and interpret construction drawings, schematics, and blueprints to ensure accurate installation Prepare surfaces by leveling, framing, or reinforcing as needed for seamless countertop placement Collaborate with team members including carpenters, masons, electricians, and plumbers to coordinate installation processes Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes; conduct inspections during each phase of installation Perform finishing tasks such as caulking, trimming, sealing, and polishing countertops for a professional appearance Skills Proficiency in blueprint reading and schematic interpretation for accurate project execution Extensive experience with hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation in construction environments Knowledge of construction management principles for efficient project planning Ability to read construction drawings accurately and follow schematics precisely Strong understanding of safety protocols related to construction site work; capable of conducting inspections to identify hazards Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients; ability to interpret technical schematics effectively Join our team if you're passionate about craftsmanship and eager to contribute your skills in a fast-paced construction environment.
