Weatherization Technician Sharon Hill, PA 1 DAYS AGO 22637612 Summary Sharon Hill, PA In-Person $17.50 - $21.00 per Hour 2 Years Experience Secondary education, no high school diploma (grades 9-12) No Commission 30.00 hours per week / Day, Evening, Weekend Shift / Full-Time Description Weatherization Crew Members may perform the following tasks under supervision:
  • Assist with installation of insulation materials including fiberglass batt, blown cellulose, dense-pack cellulose, or similar materials in attics, basements, crawlspaces, and wall cavities.
  • Perform air sealing activities including caulking, foam sealing, weatherstripping, and sealing penetrations in building envelopes.
  • Assist with attic preparation tasks including minor debris removal, installation of attic rulers, ventilation baffles, and protective coverings.
  • Transport and stage weatherization materials, tools, and equipment at job sites.
  • Assist in preparation of work areas including covering floors, protecting furnishings, and maintaining safe work zones.
  • Operate basic weatherization equipment such as insulation blowers, drills, staplers, and hand tools under supervision.
  • Assist crew leaders in loading and unloading materials, setting up ladders, and maintaining worksite organization.
  • Maintain job site cleanliness and perform final clean-up after completion of work.
  • Follow safety procedures including PPE usage, ladder safety, confined space awareness, and OSHA-compliant work practices.
  • Comply with all program requirements associated with PHDC weatherization work, including documentation and work verification.
