Wisconsin Home Improvement (WHI) is growing fast, and we're looking for a skilled Crew Lead / Foreman to join our team. Weekly Direct Deposit, PTO, Simple IRA w/ Company Match, Paid Holidays, Advancement Opportunities, Company Vehicles & Equipment Provided What You'll Do As a Crew Lead, you'll oversee a two-three person crew and ensure every insulation project is completed with accuracy, safety, and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead your crew in performing: Attic, wall, basement, and crawlspace insulation Air sealing (attic bypasses, can lights, chases, box sills, top plates, etc.) Ventilation improvements (baffles, ventilation chutes, bath fan venting, attic airflow corrections) Dense pack, blow-in, batt install, and related weatherization tasks Operate and maintain WHI-provided equipment: insulation machines, vacuums, power tools, safety tools, and ventilation equipment Perform daily maintenance checks on company vehicles and equipment Communicate clearly and professionally with homeowners, explaining project scope, timelines, and post-install details Ensure workmanship meets WHI's high standards for quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction Complete accurate job cards, materials used, photos, ventilation verification, and project notes Coordinate with office staff regarding scheduling updates, material needs, and job-site challenges Maintain a clean, organized job site and follow all safety guidelines Mentor junior installers and help train new crew members as needed What We're Looking For We want someone who takes pride in their craft, leads by example, and sees insulation/weatherization as a long-term career.
Required:
Previous insulation and/or weatherization experience , including air sealing and ventilation work Ability to lead and motivate a crew Strong communication skills with homeowners Comfort using and maintaining insulation and ventilation equipment High attention to detail and accurate job card documentation Reliable, professional, and team-oriented Valid driver's license
Preferred:
