Job Description

Area Sales Manager Brief Description The Area Sales Manager serves as the HME Area Sales Leader, responsible for developing and leading the HME area by supporting individual team growth, implementing sales training, and establishing congruency between sales and operations. This role involves mentoring the Discharge Sales team in your designated area, collaborating with Talent Acquisition on recruitment, training, and ensuring the achievement of specific sales goals. Supervisory Responsibilities Provides leadership and guidance to the Discharge Sales team within the assigned area. This involves setting direction, motivating team members, and fostering a positive and productive work environment. Mentors and develops sales leaders within the team. This may involve providing training, coaching, and feedback to help team members enhance their skills and achieve career goals. Participates in the recruitment process for new sales representatives within the assigned area. This may include screening/rating applications, interviewing candidates, assessing their qualifications, and providing input into hiring decisions. Responsible for overseeing the performance of the sales team and ensuring that they meet their targets and objectives. This may involve setting sales goals, monitoring performance metrics, and implementing strategies to improve performance. Available to provide support and guidance to team members as needed. This may involve helping them overcome challenges, providing resources and tools to facilitate their work, and addressing any issues or concerns that arise. Manages team dynamics and fosters a collaborative and cohesive team environment. This may involve working with Human Resources to resolve conflicts, promoting teamwork, and building strong relationships among team members. Essential Functions Responsible for developing sales strategies to achieve revenue targets within their assigned area. This involves analyzing market trends, identifying opportunities for growth, and implementing effective sales plans. Oversees the Discharge Sales team within their area, including hiring, training, and performance management. They provide leadership, guidance, and support to ensure that team members meet their sales targets and objectives. Establishes and maintains relationships with key customers and accounts within their area. They understand customer needs, address any issues or concerns, and work to build long-term partnerships to drive sales growth. Monitors sales performance metrics, such as revenue, sales volume, and market share, to track progress towards goals. They analyze sales data, identify trends, and take corrective actions as needed to optimize performance. Provides training and development opportunities to their sales team to enhance their skills and capabilities. This may include conducting sales training sessions, coaching individual team members, and facilitating professional development activities. Collaborates with various departments to ensure alignment and coordination of sales efforts. They communicate market feedback, customer needs, and competitive insights to relevant stakeholders. Involved in forecasting sales projections and developing annual sales plans and budgets for their area. They work closely with senior management to set realistic targets and develop strategies to achieve them. Ensures compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations related to sales activities. They maintain accurate records and provide regular updates to management on sales performance. Ensure compliance with HIPAA, HQAA, and other regulatory standards. Perform additional duties as assigned by management. Qualifications and Requirements Bachelor's degree required. Proven experience in sales management, preferably in the healthcare industry. Competencies

Pay Range:
