Job Description
- Summary
- Armed Security Officers will provide a variety of security services for the Center for Domestic Preparedness contract.

- Qualifications
- + High school diploma or general education degree (GED); + Must possess a minimum of two years of full-time experience in armed security, civilian law enforcement, or an equivalent position with the Armed Forces.
- Language Skills
- + Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos using the English language. + Ability to write simple correspondence. + Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations, respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, other employees of the organization and the general public.
- Mathematical Skills
- + Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Reasoning Ability
- + Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. + Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Computer Skills
- + Some posts may require an individual to have knowledge of Internet programs, Word Processing software, and other software as required.

- + Current/valid state driver's license
- Other Qualifications
- + Ability to pass a general medical screening, physical agility test, drug screening, and criminal background check is required. + Must be 21 years of age or older. + Must be a United States citizen.
