  • Position Overview We are a busy and growing shop seeking a skilled, reliable, and experienced ASE Certified Auto Technician to join our team full-time.
The ideal candidate has strong diagnostic ability, hands-on experience across multiple vehicle systems, and takes pride in delivering quality workmanship.

  • Key Responsibilities Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems on a variety of vehicles Perform routine maintenance (oil changes, fluid services, filters, etc.
) Conduct advanced engine diagnostics and repairs Repair and replace transmissions, differentials, and drive systems Use computerized diagnostic tools and stay current with modern vehicle technology Diagnose and repair HVAC systems Perform brake inspections, repairs, and replacements Follow all safety procedures and properly handle shop tools and equipment Read and interpret repair orders, schematics, and technical manuals Maintain productivity, attention to detail, and strong customer service standards
  • ASE Certification Requirements The following ASE Automobile & Light Truck certifications are recognized: A1
  • Engine Repair A2
  • Automatic Transmission/Transaxle A3
  • Manual Drive Train & Axles A4
  • Suspension & Steering A5
  • Brakes A6
  • Electrical/Electronic Systems A7
  • Heating & Air Conditioning A8
  • Engine Performance
  • Technician Classification Levels Mechanic Technician II Must have 2 of the following :
A4, A5, A7
Mechanic Technician III Must have:
A4, A5, A7
Plus A2 or A3 Mechanic Technician IV (Master Technician) Must have all eight certifications (A1-A8)
  • Driving & Insurance Requirements (Mandatory) Due to insurance requirements, technicians must be eligible to drive customer vehicles for testing purposes .
Applicants must meet the following:
Minimum 18 years old with at least 2 years of driving experience Valid driver's license in good standing (no suspension or probation) No history of: Vehicular homicide, assault, or motor vehicle-related criminal convictions No violations within the past 5 years , including: DUI/DWI, open container violations, failed/refused chemical tests, or drug-related offenses No violations within the past 3 years , including: Reckless driving, excessive speeding (30+ mph over limit), hit and run, eluding police, or racing No more than 2 moving violations within the past 2 years , including: Speeding, at-fault accidents, careless driving, etc. All candidates must be able to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check prior to hire and annually thereafter
  • Qualifications Valid ASE certifications (based on technician level) Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Experience working on a wide range of vehicle systems Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented High attention to detail and quality workmanship Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
