Category Schools - Sign Language Interpreter Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding full-time contract opportunity as a Sign Language Interpreter serving students in an educational environment near Clarkesville, GA. This dynamic role lets you play an essential part in ensuring clear communication and equal access to learning for Deaf and hard-of-hearing students. Collaborate daily with teachers, staff, and families, supporting students' academic and social success while making a real impact in the classroom.
Key Qualifications:
National certification (RID or EIPA) or equivalent state qualifications required Proficient in American Sign Language (ASL) and knowledgeable in interpreting practices Experience in educational settings preferred, but strong candidates with a passion for supporting youth are encouraged to apply Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to adapt interpreting style to different age groups and learning needs Reliable, organized, and able to manage a consistent 37.5-hour work week
Primary Responsibilities:
