As an Asleep Overnight Direct Support Staff, you'll help ensure peace of mind through the night and set the tone for a successful day ahead—all while working a schedule that allows for rest during your shift. This is a sleep-designated role, with the expectation that you'll wake and respond when needed to support residents and ensure safety. Minimum Education Required High School Diploma/GED Shift Third Shift Additional Shift Details Thursday-Saturday 10:30p-8:30am Responsibilities Remain available and responsive during overnight hours as needed Assist with morning routines (personal care, clothing, meals, and day program preparation) Implement established treatment and support plans Provide transportation to day programs as needed Support a safe, clean, and structured home environment Respond to and report health, behavioral, or psychiatric concerns appropriately Complete required documentation, including shift notes and behavioral observations Support and participate in fire drills and emergency preparedness activities Provide physical intervention in crisis situations when necessary Maintain required certifications (CPR/First Aid, MAP, SOLVE, HR/DPPC) Attend trainings, supervision, and team meetings as assigned Ensure individuals are treated with dignity and in accordance with Human Rights policies Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Ability to perform essential job duties reliably and safely Strong judgment and communication skills Basic computer skills or willingness to learn High energy, teamwork mindset, and strong interpersonal skills Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and willingness to transport individuals Flexibility to work across programs as needed Sensitivity and commitment to supporting diverse populations strongly preferred Advocates is committed to cultivating a diverse and welcoming community where everyone feels respected and valued.
