We are seeking a skilled and dependable Asphalt Crew Worker with proven experience operating a roller and performing lute work. This role is critical to delivering high-quality asphalt paving projects and requires attention to detail, teamwork, and a strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate asphalt rollers to compact surfaces to proper density and finish Perform lute work to ensure proper asphalt placement, grade, and smoothness Assist with all aspects of asphalt paving operations, including prep, laydown, and cleanup Work closely with the paving crew to maintain consistent workflow and quality standards Follow directions from foreman and project supervisors Maintain equipment and report any mechanical issues promptly Adhere to all safety regulations and job site protocols

Requirements:

Mandatory experience operating asphalt rollers Mandatory experience as a lute man on asphalt paving crews Strong understanding of asphalt paving processes and best practices Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented Ability to work long hours, including early mornings and occasional weekends Valid driver's license (CDL is a plus but not required)

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with additional heavy equipment (skid steer, loader, etc.) Previous work in road construction, excavation, or utilities
