Asphalt Laborer

Company Olson Asphalt is looking for a Asphalt laborer to join our current teams. We are based in Seaside, and serve customers from Ocean Park to Tillamook providing paving, sealcoating, striping, seasonal fence repair, parking lot sweeping services. You will be joining a fast paced and fun working environment. Job Summary Immediate opening. General laborer position on paving crew. Must be physically apt for manual labor, working outdoors, ability to lift 50lbs, move at a fast pace, be aware of your surroundings as we work with hot asphalt and hot tar. Duties will include shoveling, raking, squeegeeing, spraying, as well as operating equipment such as backpack blowers, rotary brooms, stripers and others. The position will require overtime, and flexible schedule with nights and weekends. Responsibilities You must be reliable, trainable and consistent. Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently and effectively. Use of smart phone with a number of required apps to log hours. Experience Previous experience with paving or sealcoating is required. Previous experience with manual labor is preferred. A valid driver's license is required with a clean driving record. Excellent communication skills to interact with customers as needed and management.
