This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong field knowledge, communication skills, and the ability to motivate crews and maintain production goals. Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise asphalt paving crews on daily operations Coordinate paving activities, trucking, equipment, and material deliveries Operate and oversee paving equipment, including pavers and rollers Ensure projects meet production schedules, quality standards, and specifications Conduct daily safety meetings and maintain OSHA compliance Monitor workmanship, rideability, and overall paving quality Train, mentor, and develop crew members Communicate effectively with Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, and inspectors Complete daily reports, production tracking, and project documentation Troubleshoot field issues quickly to maintain productivity and avoid delays Ensure equipment and vehicles are properly maintained and operated safely Qualifications Minimum 5 years of asphalt paving experience Minimum 2 years in a supervisory or foreman role preferred Strong knowledge of paving operations, equipment, materials, and roadway construction Experience managing crews, schedules, and production goals Ability to read plans and project specifications Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Valid driver's license with clean driving record Ability to work outdoors in a physically demanding environment Build a Long-Term Future with Us At Mumford & Miller, we believe our employees are our greatest asset.
