Full-time No sponsorship 🔹 Primary Function The Asphalt Plant Assistant Superintendent will support the Asphalt Plant Manager in overseeing plant operations, production schedules, maintenance activities, safety compliance, and team development. This role focuses on ensuring efficient, environmentally compliant, and high-quality asphalt production while maintaining operational excellence. 🔹 Key Responsibilities ✅ Support daily asphalt plant operations and production teams ✅ Assist in planning production, repairs, maintenance & deliveries ✅ Promote workplace safety, environmental, and quality standards ✅ Help supervise, train, and develop plant staff ✅ Coordinate with quality control teams on outgoing materials ✅ Support budgeting and cost reduction initiatives ✅ Assist with emergency repairs and operational scheduling ✅ Participate in winter planning, mix designs, and office operations ✅ Communicate operational updates and customer concerns 🔹 Required Skills ✔ Strong interpersonal & organizational skills ✔ Project management abilities ✔ Microsoft Office proficiency ✔ Ability to multitask across projects ✔ Industrial, engineering technology, or production environment exposure 🔹 Preferred Skills ⭐ Strong written & verbal communication ⭐ Knowledge of manufacturing & production methods ⭐ Leadership & supervisory development skills ⭐ Problem-solving and analytical mindset ⭐ Basic math and operational analysis skills
