$19 - $22/H About the Role We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Assembler to join our client's team in the manufacturing sector. In this role, you will contribute to disassembling, assembling, and testing various drilling equipment safely and in a timely manner. Responsibilities Perform required assembly tasks with little or no supervision Remove small quantities of metal to clean parts or to produce close fit between parts Use SAP R3 to pull prints, check labor hours on work orders, and pull and print bills of material Plan assembly procedures following specifications Clean and deburr materials Drill and tap holes Read and comprehend blueprints Assist in rigging when necessary Work in accordance with the work schedule set forth by the supervisor, which includes weekends and holidays when deemed necessary Perform all tasks in the safest manner possible to ensure that there is no damage to equipment or personnel Follow all HSE and Quality processes Perform other related duties as required and assigned Requirements High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Previous assembly experience and 1 year of experience with drilling equipment Must be mechanically adept Certifications required: Fall protection, overhead crane, forklift (if from industry recognized certification) Must have steel toed lace-up boots Preferred Qualifications (if any) Able to traverse ladders, stairs, gangways, and scaffolding at varying heights Excellent balance to traverse and negotiate uneven surfaces at varying heights Operate motor vehicles with a valid driver's license Ability to work safely at heights, including climbing ladders and scaffolding, maintaining balance on uneven surfaces, and possessing adequate depth perception and color vision Ability to perform manual handling tasks, including operating hand tools, handling small components, lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs, and exerting up to 50 lbs of force for pushing or pulling Physical and sensory capability to operate motor vehicles with a valid driver's license and to hear and understand speech and environmental sounds within normal ranges Who We Are SGF Global is an integrated talent solutions provider, offering staffing, recruitment, Employer of Record (EOR), nearshore, and consulting services across a wide range of industries in 35 countries.
