Description Core Responsibilities of a Jabil Assembler Assembly/ General Manufacturing - Jabil (Tooele, UT)

Location:

Tooele, Utah Contract:

3-4 months with potential to move to another department after contract. Jabil is seeking dependable, mechanically inclined individuals to join our Tooele team as Heavy Industrial Assemblers. This is a physically demanding, hands-on role ideal for candidates with forklift experience and a strong work ethic who are ready to contribute to high-volume production in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assemblers will be utilized in all departments and areas supporting battery enclosures. Assist assembly of large-scale electronic and mechanical components for large battery enclosure's using hand and power tools. Operate forklifts (stand-up preferred) to move heavy materials and battery modules. Push and maneuver carts loaded with up to 750 lbs of equipment. Follow detailed work instructions and safety protocols. Perform repetitive tasks while standing for extended periods. Collaborate with team members and material handlers to maintain production flow.

Frequent lifting of 50 lbs, walking, bending, and pushing 750 lb battery modules on carts Assemblers Day Shift

Additional Skills & Qualifications Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience operating forklifts in an industrial setting.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Consistently moving, lifting and walking.
• Basic mechanical skills and familiarity with tools such as torque wrenches, drills, and crimpers.
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Strong teamwork, reliability, and willingness to be coached.

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
