$19 - $22/H About the Role We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Assembler to join our client's team in the manufacturing sector. In this role, you will contribute to disassembling, assembling, and testing various drilling equipment safely and in a timely manner. Responsibilities Perform required assembly tasks with little or no supervision Remove small quantities of metal to clean parts or to produce close fit between parts Use SAP R3 to pull prints, check labor hours on work orders, and pull and print bills of material Plan assembly procedures following specifications Clean and deburr materials Drill and tap holes Read and comprehend blueprints Assist in rigging when necessary Work in accordance with the work schedule set forth by the supervisor, which includes weekends and holidays when deemed necessary Perform all tasks in the safest manner possible to ensure that there is no damage to equipment or personnel Follow all HSE and Quality processes Perform other related duties as required and assigned Requirements High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) required Minimum of one (1) year experience working with drilling equipment Strong mechanical aptitude required Certifications Industry-recognized certifications in Fall Protection, Overhead Crane, and Forklift operation required Steel-toed, lace-up boots required Hard hat and safety glasses provided by employer Preferred Skills / Essential Physical Demands Ability to work safely at heights, including climbing ladders and scaffolding and maintaining balance on uneven surfaces Ability to perform manual tasks involving hand tools, lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs, and exerting up to 50 lbs of push/pull force Adequate vision, depth perception, color recognition, hearing, and physical coordination to safely perform job tasks and operate a motor vehicle with a valid driver's license Who We Are SGF Global is an integrated talent solutions provider, offering staffing, recruitment, Employer of Record (EOR), nearshore, and consulting services across a wide range of industries in 35 countries.
