Position Summary The Assembler (Sewing) is responsible for assembling products by sewing fabric and other materials according to specified patterns and quality standards. This role involves operating sewing machines and related equipment to construct, repair, or alter products, ensuring accuracy, durability, and adherence to production schedules. The assembler must maintain high-quality workmanship, follow safety guidelines, and collaborate effectively with team members to meet production goals Responsibilities Remove cut patters from cart and stack on sewing table Assemble patterns and sew as required pockets as needed Turn bag right side out if required and inspect for defects Place on conveyor for wire assembly if required Sew in stays as required, inspect for defects, package into box Keep records of quantities and time as required Qualifications High School Diploma Physical Requirements Ability to lift 30 lbs Some standing, sitting, pushing, pulling required Pay, Benefits, Work Schedule Comprehensive coverage for medical, prescription drugs, dental, vision, voluntary optional life, accident insurance, hospital indemnity insurance and critical illness insurance with competitive premium cost. 401(k) Plan with company matching contributions at 100% of the first 5% of pay Company provided defined-contribution retirement plan with annual contribution equal to 3% of pay Career development and tuition reimbursement Additional benefits including paid parental leave, short and long-term disability programs, adoption assistance, Care.com membership and financial planning assistance are provided at no cost to you.
