Assembly Specialist Job Summary:
Responsible for assembling equipment. The person will be required to read and interpret instructions, to follow verbal instruction, assemble parts, and use tools to fit components.Assembly Specialist Job Duties:
An Assembly Specialist is tasked to assemble components, subassemblies, and products. Use hand tools such as tape measure, impact wrench, torque wrenches, screwdrivers, cordless drills, grinders, pneumatic air gun, etc. Positioning and fastening components, such as bolts, clips, plates, frames, cylinders, cables, sheaves, and panels. Inspect assembled items to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications and report any defects. Collaborate with other team members and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow and meet production goals. Adhere to all safety procedures, maintain a clean and organized workspace, and comply with company policies and regulationsAssembly Specialist Requirements:
A high school diploma or GED certificate A minimum of one year's experience in manufacturing. Experience with tape measures and tools Mechanical aptitude and the ability to follow directions Manual dexterity Physical stamina to stand , able to lift 50 lbs. Flexibility able to work 8-to-10 hour days and work overtime as required.
