Assembly Technician 3.1 3.1 out of 5 stars Miamisburg, OH 45342 From $23.50 an hour - Temp-to-hire PDSI Technical Services, Inc. 12 reviews From $23.50 an hour - Temp-to-hire Located in Miamisburg, Ohio Competitive pay starting at $23.50/hour Contract-to-hire opportunity with long-term career potential Must read blueprints and tape measurer The Assembly Technician fabricates and assembles fiberglass structures according to blueprints and engineering specifications using standard carpentry tools and fabrication techniques while meeting quality and craftsmanship standards. Technical Skills & Responsibilities Candidates should be able to: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications Read a tape measure accurately Measure, mark, and cut materials to precise dimensions Operate carpentry tools and shop equipment, including saws, drills, grinders, and sanders Fabricate and assemble fiberglass components to specification Inspect and verify work using precision measuring tools Follow established fabrication processes and assembly sequences Handle and organize materials properly, including FIFO inventory practices Complete required production, safety, and quality documentation Troubleshoot fabrication and assembly issues Perform basic math calculations accurately Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition Apply standard carpentry and fabrication techniques Understand manufacturing and shop floor operations Professional Expectations Successful candidates demonstrate: Teamwork & Communication Work effectively in a team environment Communicate clearly and professionally Follow supervisor direction Collaborate with coworkers to meet production and safety goals Professionalism Maintain a respectful and positive attitude Accept feedback constructively Follow company procedures and safety standards Contribute to a productive work environment Reliability Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality Meet deadlines and production expectations Produce accurate, dependable work on a consistent basis Qualifications Candidates must meet one of the following: High school diploma or GED 5-7 years of related experience Equivalent combination of education and experience

Entry-level to senior-level candidates encouraged to apply Physical Requirements This position requires hands-on physical work, including: Standing and moving throughout the workday Frequent bending, kneeling, climbing, and crawling Regular lifting of up to 50 lbs Good close, distance, color, and depth perception Continuous use of hands and arms Ideal Candidate Profile Qualified candidates will have: Basic carpentry or fabrication experience, or a willingness to learn Comfort using tools and reading measurements and blueprints Strong work ethic, reliability, and teamwork skills Ability to perform in an active, labor-intensive environment
