ES AMER ARS
division is currently seeking a Assembly Technician I - 2nd Shift. The rate for this position is $18.11 and $1 shift differential per hour plus a $1.00 per hour shift differential. The core hours are Monday through Friday from 3:30 pm until 11:30 pm. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. ## What you'll do: The Assembler is responsible for meeting daily production goals with a strong focus on safety, quality, delivery, inventory accuracy, and productivity. This role supports the assembly of Low Voltage Assemblies and performs all required tasks, including material allocation, raw material preparation, assembly, electrical testing, and preparing finished products for shipment. The Assembler works collaboratively within a team environment and flexes across all areas of the assembly operation as needed, including Lean Line, Flex Line, and PowerWave2 operations.
  • Assemble, adjust, or repair products using fixtures, gauges, hand tools, and power tools.
  • Prepare materials using layout, drilling, sawing, punching, riveting, caulking, and painting processes as required.
  • Retrieve, stage, and deliver materials to support assembly line operations.
  • Label completed assemblies and prepare finished products for shipment or storage.
  • Perform visual inspections and quality checks to ensure products meet specifications and requirements.
  • Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings, method sheets, and standard work instructions.
  • Follow all safety policies, procedures, WSRA requirements, and supervisor instructions.
  • Flex to other assembly areas and perform additional tasks or roles as business needs require.

Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
  • 3 months of industrial manufacturing experience
  • 3 months of experience using hand and air tools
