Job Description

Job Overview Join our dynamic construction team as an Assembly Trusses Worker, where you'll play a vital role in building the framework that supports innovative structures. This energetic position involves assembling roof trusses, wall frames, and other structural components with precision and efficiency. You will work closely with project managers, carpenters, and other skilled trades to ensure timely and quality construction of metal and wood frameworks. Responsibilities Assemble roof trusses, wall frames, and other structural components using hand tools, power tools, and schematics. Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately interpret project specifications. Operate heavy equipment and machinery safely to assist with lifting and positioning large structural elements. Install metal studs, framing members, and reinforcement materials such as rebar for concrete forms. Assist with metal building erection, siding installation, roofing, and masonry tasks as needed. Perform heavy lifting and manual labor to move materials into place efficiently while maintaining safety standards. Support concrete forming and finishing activities to ensure smooth surfaces and proper curing. Use welding techniques for metal connections when required by project specifications. Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials regularly. Follow safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents on-site during all phases of assembly. Experience Prior experience in construction site environments with exposure to framing, roofing, or masonry work preferred. Hands-on knowledge of metal building erection, steel framing, or wood frame carpentry is highly desirable. Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical drawings essential for precise assembly. Proficiency with hand tools such as hammers, saws, drills, as well as power tools including nail guns and grinders. Experience operating heavy equipment like forklifts or cranes is a plus but not mandatory. Knowledge of rebar installation, concrete forming, plastering or stucco application adds value to your skill set. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely for extended periods while maintaining physical stamina. Construction management understanding helpful for coordinating tasks efficiently on busy sites.
