Job Description

Here's what you'll be doing: Assists with daily (monthly at Campbellsport or as necessary depending on weather events) safety checks of grounds, buildings, and infrastructure, and helps correct identified issues Supports property security by monitoring activity, assisting with addressing trespassers, and contacting the Onsite Caretaker or authorities when necessary. Assists with landscaping and grounds maintenance, including lawn care, buckthorn and invasive species removal, snow removal, and debris or brush removal. Helps perform preventative and routine maintenance on buildings including basic carpentry, painting, drywall repair, minor plumbing, door hardware repair, and caulking under direction. Assists with basic mechanical and equipment maintenance required to perform daily duties. Helps draft, complete, and maintain inspection, weekly caretaker checklists, and preventative maintenance reports. Assists with reading and interpreting sketches, diagrams, basic blueprints, and work instructions. Ensures proper care and safe use of tools, equipment, and supplies while promoting workplace safety and environmental best practices. Assists with maintenance on a variety of mechanical equipment that is needed to perform daily duties. Here's what you'll need to be successful : High school diploma or GED A minimum of two years' experience in building maintenance and/or construction. Must possess a valid, current driver's license and be at least 21 years of age. Must have working knowledge of tools, equipment, and mathematical concepts. Ability to learn, read, and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedures and technical manuals, and wiring diagrams and schematics. Ability to communicate effectively and maintain a professional work environment. Must be able to attend training courses and travel as needed. Must successfully pass all applicable background checks and drug screens.
