In-office, 5 days per weekCompensation:
$125,000•130,000 base salary + annual bonus About theOpportunity:
A privately held, growing manufacturing company backed by a global parent organization is seeking an experienced Assistant Controller to join its finance leadership team. This role will be highly visible and hands-on, supporting day-to-day financial operations while helping modernize processes and systems as the business continues to grow. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong accounting leader who enjoys partnering with operations, managing people, and improving financial processes in a stable yet evolving environment.Key Responsibilities:
Support the Controller in overseeing all accounting and financial operations, including month-end and year-end close, AR/AP, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to a foreign parent company Manage the monthly close process and ensure timely, accurate financial statements Prepare financial reports, cash flow forecasts, projections, and ad hoc analyses for senior leadership Lead financial planning, budgeting, and long-term strategic planning activities Supervise and develop an accounting team of three reports Maintain oversight of payroll-related functions, including benefits, 401(k), and insurance coordination Partner with department leaders to support sound financial decision-making and resource allocation Identify and implement process improvements and financial best practices Play a key role in ERP modernization and automation initiativesWhat We're Looking For:
