Role:
Join South Easton MA KinderCare as an Assistant Director, where you will play a vital role in shaping young minds and fostering a nurturing environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead a dedicated team while ensuring the highest standards of early childhood education.
Responsibilities:
Assist in managing day-to-day operations and ensure compliance with state licensing regulations. Support curriculum development and implementation that promotes holistic child development. Supervise and mentor teaching staff, providing guidance and professional development opportunities. Engage with parents and families to build strong community relationships and support children's learning. Conduct regular assessments of program quality and implement improvements as needed. Coordinate staff scheduling and manage classroom assignments to optimize resources. Promote a safe and inclusive environment for children, staff, and families. Participate in onboarding of new staff members.
Requirements:
Associates or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within early childhood education. Strong knowledge of child development principles and state licensing requirements. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with families and staff. Ability to foster a positive, nurturing, and inclusive environment. Proficient in administrative tasks, including budgeting and staff management. CPR and First Aid certification required or willingness to obtain. Passion for early childhood education and commitment to making a difference in children's lives. MUST have Lead Teacher certification or higher.
