The Role:
Front-of-House Leader As the Assistant Food & Beverage Manager, you will serve as the Director's right hand, managing and overseeing all service staff and operations across our resort's dining outlets. Your leadership directly ensures every guest interaction meets our impeccable 5-star standards .
Key Leadership & Operational Responsibilities:
Service Excellence:
Oversee all food and beverage outlets, ensuring service standards are consistently high, efficient, and courteous.
Team Development:
Assist management in supervising, training, and inspiring staff to uphold Rough Creek's elite service standards and cultivate a positive team culture.
Revenue Generation:
Execute and actively promote "upselling" strategies across all F&B outlets to enhance the guest experience and maximize revenue.
Expert Knowledge:
Maintain a thorough working knowledge of all food and beverage menus, including detailed knowledge of liquor brands, wines, and specialty selections, and be able to clearly explain these to both staff and guests.
Financial Control:
Accurately manage all cash handling, credit card transactions, and room charges. Ensure strict adherence to accounting procedures, including the smooth operation and reconciliation of the POS system .
Compliance and Safety:
Strictly adhere to all alcohol service laws, proactively manage service to intoxicated or minor guests, and ensure all reporting (tips, opening/closing checklists) is accurately completed every shift.
Leadership Presence:
Perform daily opening and closing duties, think independently to make sound judgment calls, and constantly seek out opportunities to assist colleagues and improve operations. Management Experience:
Minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on food and beverage service management experience in a quality establishment.
Legal Compliance:
Must be at least 21 years of age . Certifications (Required): Must be TABC certified and possess a valid Food Handler's License . (CPR certification is preferred).
Physical Capability:
Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs to an overhead position and perform abundant physical movements throughout the work areas.
Communication & Math:
Ability to read, write, and communicate in English very clearly , combined with strong basic mathematical and accounting functions.
Organizational Skills:
Proven ability to be well organized, work neatly, and maintain an intense focus on operational details. Compensation & Benefits (Why You Should Apply) This is a salaried, exempt position with a structure that rewards performance and dedication.
Exceptional Earning Potential:
Base salary plus commission gives you the ability to earn between $45,000 - $60,000 per year . Your success directly impacts your total compensation.
