Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA- PRN) Glen Rose Nursing & Rehab is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. This is a great opportunity to work in a supportive environment where you can make a meaningful impact on patients' recovery and overall well-being. •Seeking coverage from May 1st through August to support a leave of absence.• Job Summary The Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to implement individualized treatment plans. This role is essential in delivering high-quality patient care, promoting recovery, and improving functional outcomes for residents. Responsibilities Assist in implementing treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist Provide hands-on therapy to help improve mobility, strength, and function Monitor and document patient progress and report changes to the supervising PT Support patients in achieving therapy goals and improving quality of life Ensure all treatments are delivered in accordance with the established plan of care Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with company and regulatory standards Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide quality patient care Qualifications Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program Current state licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant SNF/long-term care experience preferred Strong communication and patient care skills Benefits Flexible scheduling Supportive team environment
