Role Description This is an on-site, full-time role for an Assistant General Manager at the Hampton Inn Harriman Woodbury in New York. The Assistant General Manager will oversee daily hotel operations, ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction and team performance. Responsibilities include managing staff, coordinating with various departments, supervising financial and operational functions, ensuring brand standards are met, and addressing guest concerns. The role requires a focus on maintaining operational efficiency, achieving business goals, and fostering a positive team environment. Qualifications A minimum of 3 years' previous hotel operations and leadership experience, to include successful management of a large staff and focus on exceptional guest service. Must be willing to work nights and weekends. Strong multitasking, organizational, and leadership abilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills Knowledge of hospitality industry standards, compliance, and operational best practices Ability to motivate teams and deliver exceptional guest experiences Previous managerial experience in the hospitality industry or related sector is highly desirable
