Job Description:

Responsibilities:

Lead the monthly close process and deliver accurate, decision?ready financial statements that support operational and strategic decision?making. Transform financial and operational data into actionable insights across margins, shrink, spoilage, and route?level profitability. Own inventory accuracy and cost control, including FIFO valuation, landed cost analysis, rebate tracking, and variance management. Analyze operational performance metrics such as cost per route, labor utilization, productivity, and throughput. Maintain strong cash flow through effective oversight of AR, AP, forecasting, and banking activities. Strengthen internal controls, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and maintain audit?ready documentation. Drive annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and KPI development to support organizational planning and performance management. Lead, mentor, and elevate a high?performing finance and accounting team with a hands?on, operationally engaged leadership style.

Requirements:

7-10+ years of progressive accounting experience; distribution or logistics industry experience strongly preferred. Strong understanding of inventory, gross margin drivers, and cost?of?goods workflows. ERP proficiency (SAP or comparable system) and advanced Excel capability. Proven ability to excel in fast?paced, high?volume, operationally complex environments
