Assistant Groundskeeper

Job Summary Groundskeeper Assistant We are looking for a full time- reliable and hardworking Groundskeeper Assistant to help maintain and care for a private property in the greater Clarks Summit/Abington area. This role involves landscaping, lawn care, equipment operation, seasonal maintenance, and general property upkeep. The ideal candidate is able to work with a team, be dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating landscaping equipment and working outdoors in all seasons. Available to start immediately. Responsibilities Mulch and weed landscape beds Mow, edge, and maintain turf areas Operate landscaping equipment including zero-turn mowers, weed eaters, edgers, and backpack blowers Maintain weed control in hardscape areas, rock outcroppings, and invasive plant areas Maintain athletic and recreational areas including tennis, croquet, and pétanque courts Apply fertilizer and maintain healthy turfgrass areas Perform seasonal cleanup including leaf removal and snow removal Troubleshoot and maintain irrigation systems Clean and maintain water features and outdoor furniture Split and cut firewood for outdoor fireplaces and oven Service and maintain small equipment, carts, and mowers Keep maintenance shop clean and organized Assist with general building and pool maintenance Maintain service records for equipment and property maintenance Be available for occasional evenings, weekends, and special events as needed Qualifications Experience with landscaping, groundskeeping, or property maintenance preferred Ability to safely operate landscaping equipment and small machinery Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to lift, carry, and perform physical labor throughout the day Basic maintenance and troubleshooting skills are a plus Pay $20 per hour

$19.00 - $21.00 per hour
