Job Description

Job Summary The Executive Housekeeper Assistant supports the housekeeping department in maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and overall guest satisfaction standards of a 54-room limited service hotel. This position works closely with the Executive Housekeeper and hotel management to ensure guest rooms and public areas meet IHG brand standards, while creating a welcoming environment for guests and team members while using the IHG Way of Clean 5-S Cleaning Program. This role is ideal for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable co-leading a small housekeeping team in a fast-paced hotel environment. Duties/Responsibilities Assist with daily housekeeping operations and room inspections. Help supervise and support housekeeping staff. Ensure guest rooms, laundry areas, hallways, and public spaces are clean and properly stocked. Train new housekeeping employees on hotel standards and procedures. Monitor linen, towels, guest supplies, and cleaning inventory. Assist with scheduling and assigning daily boards as needed. Respond to guest requests and housekeeping-related concerns promptly and professionally. Report maintenance issues and follow up as needed. Help maintain cleanliness scores and guest satisfaction goals. Step into housekeeping duties as needed during busy periods, which includes assisting with laundry and/or cleaning rooms. Requirements Hotel housekeeping experience. Supervisory or leadership experience preferred but not necessarily required. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Reliable attendance and positive attitude. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 25 pounds. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
