ASSISTANT HOUSE MANAGER

House Manager Basic Functions:
Provides transportation to residents for employment, medical and other appointments, meetings, court dates, etc.Supervision:
None Responsibilities:
1. Assures that maintenance schedule for vehicles is adhered to. ` 2. Assures that vehicles have gas, oil, and other necessary fluids. Assures the cleanliness of vehicles. Assist House Manager with basic functionsEssential Job Functions:
Works on a schedule as assigned by supervisory staff; works holidays as needed; will be required to fill-in in the event of llness or vacation. Assists to ensure compliance with Licensure Standards as they relate to the physical plant. Transports residents to and from employment. Transports residents to and from AA/NA meetings. Informs staff about resident's behaviors, and communicates problems in a timely manner. Assists to Coordinate transportation for residents. Transports residents as requested by supervisor. Conducts daily room inspections. Keeps inventory of kitchen, house, and resident's supplies accordingly. Purchasing food, supplies, household items, and special order items as directed by the supervisor. Attends house meetings, staff meetings, case conference, and trainings as assigned. May facilitate Saturday House Meeting. Assigns and supervises Saturday work therapy/productive time. Maintains linen inventory Fills in for House Manager when absent Performs other duties as assigned to further the mission of Freedom House, Inc.Qualifications:
Valid New Jersey Driver's License with a good driver record. Minimum of one-year sobriety (if applicable). Competency in spoken English.Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent.Experience:
One year driving history Familiarity with general vehicle maintenance.Personal Dimensions:
