Assistant Infant Teacher

Duties:

• Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum for preschool children, including activities that promote cognitive, physical, and social development
• Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in the classroom
• Manage classroom behavior and promote positive discipline techniques
• Collaborate with parents and guardians to ensure open communication and involvement in their child's education
• Assess and monitor the progress of each child, providing individualized support as needed
• Create a supportive and inclusive environment for children with special needs, including those with autism or other developmental challenges
• Maintain accurate records of each child's progress and development

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
• Ability to develop and implement engaging and age-appropriate curriculum
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
• Patience, empathy, and understanding when working with children with special needs or challenging behaviors
• Strong organizational skills to effectively manage classroom activities and materials
• Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of individual children
