Job Description
Overview We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of property management systems, legal regulations, and customer service principles. This role requires a proactive approach to maintaining property standards, ensuring tenant satisfaction, and managing administrative tasks efficiently. The Property Manager will be responsible for coordinating maintenance, leasing, and compliance activities while fostering positive relationships with tenants and vendors. Duties Manage property leasing processes, including marketing units, conducting tours, and negotiating lease agreements. Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations, Section 8 policies, and LIHTC requirements. Oversee property maintenance and facilities management using systems such as Yardi, OneSite, and CMMS. Handle tenant relations by addressing inquiries, resolving conflicts through effective conflict management strategies, and maintaining high levels of customer service. Administer legal administrative tasks related to landlord-tenant law, contracts, and lease documentation. Conduct data entry, filing, and record keeping for all property-related documents. Coordinate with vendors and maintenance staff to ensure timely repairs and upkeep of properties. Upsell additional services or amenities to tenants to enhance occupancy rates and revenue. Maintain accurate records of rent collections, payments, and financial transactions using property management software. Assist in budgeting, reporting, and ensuring adherence to property policies and procedures. Qualifications Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles. Strong knowledge of LIHTC, Section 8, Fair Housing regulations, landlord-tenant law, and contracts. Proficiency with property management software such as Yardi, OneSite, or similar platforms. Excellent customer service skills with professional phone etiquette and relationship management abilities. Experience in property leasing, sales techniques, conflict resolution, negotiation, and facilities management. Legal administrative experience related to lease agreements and compliance documentation. Office experience including data entry, filing systems, and administrative support functions. Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills with the ability to manage tenant relationships effectively. Pay:
