This role is responsible for maintaining the grounds, amenities, building exteriors, leasing office, parking lots, and other community buildings within and assisting the Maintenance Technician with unit turns and work orders.Responsibilities:
Maintenance:
Meticulously maintain the grounds, amenities, building exteriors, leasing office, and parking lots. Regularly remove trash from office areas and the apartment community perimeter. Assist in preparing market-ready units by performing trash-outs and cleaning in vacant apartments. Collaborate with the Maintenance Technician and Property Manager to address maintenance tasks when needed promptly. Participate in cleaning available apartments and models. Contribute to snow and ice removal efforts. Provide back up support to Maintenance Technician when necessary. Report maintenance concerns related to available apartments, models, clubhouse, and common areas to the Maintenance Supervisor.Leasing:
Maintain curb appeal by ensuring cleanliness. Assist the management team with various tasks as needed.Administrative:
Uphold all company policies, goals, and values. Deliver communication documentation to residents. Contribute to resident retention programs.Safety:
Correct unsafe conditions promptly. Comply with safety rules at the company, local, state, and federal levels. Report any unsafe conditions immediately.Essential Qualifications:
Neat, clean, and professional appearance throughout the workday Valid driver's license (as required by community needs) Successful completion of a background check Ability to perform tasks without seeking outside contractor assistance. Attendance is imperative. Employees must fulfill performance standards and comply with company policies and procedures outlined in the Employee Handbook. Working Conditions- Must have active Driver's License and vehicle.
- Working in a maintenance environment may mean exposure to dust, fumes, solvents, variable light conditions and noise, as well as inclement weather.
- The ability to lift, carry and position light (15 pounds consistently) to heavy weight objects (50 - 100 pounds occasionally with assistance) and push/pulling equipment of equal weight is required including the utilization of proper body mechanics and techniques.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel crouch, climb, use ladders, and perform various types of manual labor.
- Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays if required for emergencies. Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Authorized to work in the United States
- A minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a similar role.
- Demonstrates teamwork, excellent customer service skills & ability to multi-task.
