Job Description:
Job Summary As an Assistant Manager at Burger King, you will support the General Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of food quality and cleanliness. You will play a key role in team leadership and operational efficiency. Job Responsibilities Assist the General Manager in all aspects of restaurant management, including staffing, training, and performance management of team members. Supervise and motivate crew members to deliver outstanding customer service and maintain operational excellence. Ensure compliance with all Burger King brand standards, food safety regulations, and company policies. Manage inventory, control food costs, and minimize waste to achieve profitability targets. Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally and efficiently. Oversee cash handling procedures, including deposits and daily reconciliation. Assist with scheduling, payroll, and administrative tasks as needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment. Support local marketing initiatives and promotional activities. Job Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; some college education preferred. Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role within the fast-food or restaurant industry. Proven ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Excellent customer service orientation. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Basic understanding of P&L statements and inventory management is a plus. ServSafe certification or ability to obtain within a specified timeframe. Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems.
