Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as an Assistant Manager - Restaurant and be at the forefront of delivering exceptional dining experiences! In this energetic role, you will lead daily restaurant operations, supervise staff, and ensure top-notch customer service. Your culinary expertise, management skills, and passion for food will drive the success of our vibrant establishment. Duties Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service flow and adherence to quality standards Supervise and motivate staff, including training new team members and conducting ongoing development programs Manage food preparation processes, ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations Handle POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation Control inventory levels, monitor stock rotation, and coordinate with suppliers to minimize waste and reduce costs Assist in shift management by scheduling staff efficiently to meet customer demand during peak hours Maintain high standards of customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally Support kitchen management tasks including food production oversight, food handling procedures, and culinary quality assurance Qualifications Proven experience in restaurant management or assistant management roles within quick service, casual dining, or fine dining establishments Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety protocols Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; experience with cash handling is essential Demonstrated supervisory skills with a track record of staff training & development and team leadership Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations gracefully Background in hospitality management, kitchen management, or food service industry preferred Ability to manage multiple responsibilities including shift planning, inventory control, budgeting, and food safety compliance Previous experience in catering, bar service, hotel operations or coffee shop environments is a plus Embark on a rewarding journey where your leadership fuels a thriving restaurant environment!
