Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Assistant Manager to lead our restaurant team to success! In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and maintain high standards of food quality and safety. Your leadership will inspire staff, streamline processes, and create a welcoming environment that keeps guests coming back. Duties Supervise daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, service delivery, and cleanliness standards Lead staff training and development to ensure excellent customer service and adherence to food safety protocols Manage shift schedules, monitor performance, and provide constructive feedback to team members Oversee inventory control, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to optimize food and beverage costs Handle cash transactions, POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, and ensure accurate cash handling procedures Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food handling and sanitation standards Support kitchen management by coordinating food production, supervising culinary staff, and maintaining quality standards Assist in interviewing, hiring, onboarding new team members, and fostering a positive team environment Contribute to budgeting efforts and help achieve financial targets for the restaurant Requirements Proven experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles within quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining environments Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety practices Hands-on experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is preferred Demonstrated ability in inventory control, food management, and cost optimization strategies Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction Leadership skills with experience in staff training & development, team management, and supervising diverse teams Familiarity with kitchen management, food production processes, and catering operations is a plus Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and manage shift responsibilities efficiently Hospitality management background with experience in fine dining or hotel settings is advantageous Strong communication skills with the ability to interview candidates effectively and foster a collaborative work environment Join us as an Assistant Manager — bring your passion for hospitality to life by leading a motivated team dedicated to delivering memorable dining experiences!
