Assistant Manager / Visual Merchandiser

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and creative Assistant Manager / Visual Merchandiser to energize our retail environment and elevate our brand presence. This role combines leadership with a passion for visual storytelling, ensuring that our store displays captivate customers, promote our products effectively, and reflect our brand identity. As a key team member, you will drive merchandising strategies, oversee daily operations, and provide exceptional customer experiences. Your expertise in layout design, branding, and visual design tools will be instrumental in creating engaging store environments that boost sales and enhance brand loyalty.

Key Responsibilities Sales & Customer Relationship Management Drive Revenue:

Achieve and exceed daily and weekly sales targets through active floor management and personal sales leadership.

Antique Expertise:

Develop and share deep product knowledge of various eras, styles, and furniture construction to build trust with collectors.

Customer Loyalty:

Proactively engage with customers to understand their design needs and build long-term relationships through expert service.

Visual Merchandising & Showroom Standards Curate Displays:

Lead the creation of aesthetically pleasing vignettes and floor layouts that highlight the unique character of our inventory.

Maintain Presentation:

Ensure all furniture and antiques are cleaned, staged, and correctly priced according to company standards.

Strategic Layouts:

Analyze sales trends to rotate inventory and refresh displays, keeping the showroom dynamic and inviting for frequent visitors.

Operations & Team Leadership Daily Management:

Handle opening and closing procedures, including cash reconciliations and security protocols.

Inventory Control:

Assist with stock audits, manage incoming furniture deliveries, and ensure all items are accurately entered into the POS system.

Schedule & Compensation Hours:

Thursday - Monday (Weekends required).

Flexibility:

Must be available for extra hours as needed for floor flips, inventory intake, or special events.

Pay Type:

Hourly depending on experience.

Pay:

$21.00 - $23.00 per hour
