Assistant Manager/Sales Associate

A Snap Fitness Assistant Manager drives membership sales, manages daily operations, and ensures high standards of cleanliness and customer service. They have a passion for fitness and proactive independent leadership. They support the Club or General Manager, often conducting tours, marketing, and member engagement, while sometimes conducting new member orientations, requiring strong sales skills and high energy.

Key Responsibilities Sales & Marketing:

Drive new memberships through local outreach, community marketing, and follow-up on leads. Includes membership tours, sales, and calling leads along with gym sign-ups.

Club Operations:

Ensure the facility is clean, tidy, and equipment is maintained to company standards.

Member Engagement:

Provide exceptional service, resolve issues, and engage with members to improve retention.

Staff Leadership:

Lead by example and provide support to the Club/General Manager, including assisting in training or supervising staff.

Administrative Duties:

Manage club reporting, social media, and attend to administrative tasks. Answer emails, phone calls and in-person questions about memberships, services and club policies. Greet members and guests in a friendly, professional manner Requirements Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Previous sales experience is highly valued. A passion for fitness and a motivating attitude. Ability to work flexible hours, often including solo shifts. Ability to stand for extended periods. Ability to lift 60 pounds and assist with cleaning duties Comfortable working in an active fitness environment. Ability to adapt and overcome during high stress or crisis Personal training experience and certification are preferred. Bilingual (Spanish speaking) preferred. Work Environment The position is often fast paced, high-energy, with a strong focus on hitting sales targets and maintaining a welcoming gym atmosphere. The role requires a "fun, upbeat attitude" and a passion for helping members achieve health goals.

Pay:
