AvailableJob OverviewWe are seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager, Labor & Delivery to join a 16-bed Labor & Delivery unit in Clovis, California. This role is ideal for an experienced L&D nurse who is ready to build on their bedside expertise and step into a leadership role supporting patient care, staff development, quality, safety, and daily unit operations.

The unit offers a modern, family-centered environment with private rooms, a supportive leadership team, and a close-knit culture focused on excellent care for mothers, babies, and families.

Key ResponsibilitiesSupport daily operations within the Labor & Delivery unit.

Coordinate patient care and help ensure safe, high-quality outcomes.

Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to nursing staff.

Help foster a positive, collaborative, and professional team culture.

Support quality, safety, and performance improvement initiatives.

Partner with nursing leadership to maintain strong department standards.

Serve as a reassuring clinical leader for patients, families, and staff.

QualificationsRequired:

Active California Registered Nurse license.

Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association.

Labor & Delivery nursing experience.

Strong communication, leadership, and patient care skills.

Preferred:

Graduate of an approved nursing program.

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.

Prior charge nurse, lead nurse, or nursing leadership experience.
