Part-Time Office Manager Company:
Allsop Trucking, North Liberty, IN Position Summary Allsop Trucking is seeking a reliable and organized Part-Time Office Manager to support our growing trucking operation. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can handle a variety of administrative and operational support tasks. You will play a key role in keeping our office running smoothly by assisting with record keeping, compliance, filing, parts procurement, and other miscellaneous tasks. Key Responsibilities
  • Record Keeping & Filing:
    Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including driver logs, maintenance records, fuel receipts, and other essential documents. Organize and file both physical and digital records.
  • Compliance Support:
    Assist with DOT, FMCSA, and other regulatory compliance requirements, including permit renewals, insurance documentation, and record retention.
  • Parts Running:
    Pick up and deliver parts, supplies, and equipment as needed (local driving required).
  • Administrative Support:
    Handle general office tasks such as data entry, scanning, mail processing, answering phones, and assisting with scheduling or other projects as assigned.
  • Miscellaneous Tasks:
    Support the team with various duties to ensure efficient daily operations. Qualifications & Requirements
  • Previous office/administrative experience preferred (trucking, logistics, or transportation industry experience is a strong plus).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic computer skills.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (clean driving record required for parts running).
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Professional attitude and strong communication skills.
  • Must be able to pass a background check. Schedule & Compensation
  • Part-time, approximately 15-20 hours per week (flexible schedule)
  • Competitive hourly pay based on experience.
