Duties Assist in preparing a variety of baked goods, desserts, and pastries with precision and creativity Support cake decorating efforts for special orders and events, ensuring visually stunning results Handle packaging of baked items for retail or catering purposes with attention to detail Contribute to food production processes while maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene Aid in food handling tasks including measuring ingredients, mixing, and baking under supervision Support kitchen operations by maintaining cleanliness, organization, and proper storage of ingredients and tools Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of orders and uphold customer satisfaction Requirements Proven pastry experience with a strong foundation in baking techniques and cake decorating skills Knowledge of food preparation, handling, and safety standards within a professional kitchen environment Experience with food production, packaging, and catering services preferred Excellent knife skills and familiarity with culinary equipment used in baking and cooking Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Strong customer service orientation when interacting with clients or team members Previous restaurant or food industry experience is advantageous but not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is essential Join us at La Promenade where your culinary talents will flourish!
