Jul 1, 2026 Job Description RSU 16 is seeking highly-motivated candidates to apply for the position of Assistant Principal at Poland Community School. PCS has 400 PreK-6 students. The successful candidate will be a collaborative, innovative educational leader with the ability to communicate effectively, help lead the improvement of teaching and learning, manage multiple tasks and balance school-wide leadership with a working knowledge and understanding of elementary students. The preferred candidate will possess: A Master's Degree, Current and valid Maine certification as Assistant Building Administrator/Building Administrator (040) K-12, Successful teaching experience at the elementary level, Expertise in instructional supervision and evaluation, The ability to work collaboratively to foster a positive school climate, Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the effective utilization of technology and information management tools. Salary commensurate with the experience and qualifications.
