Job Description

Job Overview High Country Linen Service has been serving Jackson, WY and its surrounding areas since 1931 and we are so proud to have been part of this community for over 95 years! We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Production Manager to join our team! This position helps to lead a crew in general laundry operations to include: sorting linen, operating machines, and processing. The position is an active and physical one, requiring someone to be hands-on and be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds on a regular basis. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a solid background in busy production environments. This role involves managing production teams, ensuring quality standards, and optimizing operational efficiency within our production facility. Bilingual in English-Spanish strongly preferred . This is a full-time, year-round position that offers seasonal overtime, benefits, and paid time off. Duties Operate laundry equipment Supervise production activities and ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards. Coordinate the workflow on the various teams to maximize productivity and minimize downtime by contributing to the sorting of laundry, processing clean linen, and loading or sorting carts of laundry onsite. Mentor and motivate team members, fostering a collaborative work environment. Assist production leads and supervisors through daily monitoring of activities and production. Must regularly review staffing and supply needs, efficiency, quality of product, completion of accurate billing, and make sure all carts are identified and accurate. Assist with timekeeping. Assure the production team completes timecards and monitor for accuracy. Coordinate with the Director of Maintenance and Engineering for off-season projects and support. Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency. Complete and implement other projects or tasks as assigned. Requirements Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide team members. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with diverse teams. Basic math skills, including calculating figures such as counts and percentages. Basic computer skills to include Microsoft Office. Experience with Alliant Accounting Software and iSolved a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with agility and flexibility, while maintaining attention to detail. Responsible for maintaining great relationships with our production team and setting a positive tone in the plant. Lead by example. Identify what the team needs to complete their assignments. Coordinate with management as required to get the job done.
Starting Salary:
$26 - $29/hr
