Description:
J.S. Barry Industries is a specialized industrial services company that works in conjunction with facilities and mechanical contractors to eliminate shutdowns and draining of critical piping systems when repairs and/or modifications need to be made. Sectors that we service include hospitals, colleges/universities, power plants, paper mills, biotech, manufacturing plants, commercial real estate, and more. We have a merit-based culture that rewards commitment and hard work, and we are proud to have many long-tenured team members. We are currently seeking an Assistant Project Manager & Sales Associate to work out of our Manchester, NH office, servicing all of New England. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Meet with customers on job sites to assess project specific needs and offer solutions based on a variety of services that we offer. Provide accurate pricing to customers based on in-person walkthroughs on job sites. Communicate with customers, Operations Manager, and team regularly to meet scheduling needs and ensure projects run smoothly from start to finish. Handle multiple on-going projects simultaneously. Respond to customer needs on a routine and emergency basis, sometimes off-hours (nights or weekends). Focus on new business development while also maintaining relationships with existing customers. Successful candidate will be required to learn and assist in all operational aspects of the business. We are a small company. Being versatile and wearing multiple hats is necessary at times. Attend monthly networking events with the intent of expanding industry contacts. Assist in all other sales and marketing related activities in coordination with the Director of Sales & Marketing.
Qualifications:
Positive attitude & strong desire to learn a must. Some experience in the trades or construction is helpful, but not required. Must have clean driving record and pass criminal background & drug screening. OSHA 30 is helpful, but not required. Candidate must live within 30-45 minutes to the Manchester, NH office. Preferred candidate will be career oriented.
Performance Based Compensation:
$70,000.00
  • $80,000.
00 + annually, by way of salary, commission, & bonuses. Company vehicle & gas card. Company phone & laptop
