Responsibilities Assist with supervising daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, to ensure efficiency and compliance. Support recruiting efforts by participating in interviewing candidates, onboarding new employees, and conducting employee orientation sessions. Lead and motivate team members through effective training, coaching, and development initiatives to foster a high-performance environment. Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, and merchandising to maximize sales potential and maintain attractive product displays. Oversee cash handling procedures, POS (Point of Sale) transactions, payroll processing, and bookkeeping tasks with accuracy and integrity. Ensure excellent customer service by addressing inquiries promptly, resolving issues effectively, and maintaining positive customer relationships. Collaborate with management on sales strategies, marketing initiatives, pricing adjustments, and promotional activities to boost store performance. Skills Strong leadership abilities with proven experience in supervising retail teams and managing store operations. Excellent communication skills in multiple languages or bilingual proficiency to connect with diverse customers and staff. Skilled in negotiation, purchasing, inventory management, and retail math to optimize sales margins and stock levels. Proficient in POS systems, cash handling procedures, bookkeeping, payroll administration, and basic accounting principles. Demonstrated expertise in retail management areas such as shift management, merchandising, stocking, marketing, and customer service excellence. Adept at training & development techniques to enhance team performance; experienced in interviewing and recruiting top talent. Organized with strong time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
