Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Assistant Superintendent to join our construction management team. In this pivotal role, you will support the successful delivery of large-scale industrial construction projects by assisting in overseeing daily site operations, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring project milestones are met efficiently. Your expertise will help drive project progress, maintain safety standards, and uphold quality control throughout the construction process. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful infrastructure projects while developing your management skills within a collaborative environment. Responsibilities Assist in managing daily construction site activities, ensuring work progresses according to schedule and safety protocols. Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and on-site personnel to ensure quality work and adherence to project plans. Support project scheduling efforts using Primavera P6 or similar construction management software to track progress and update timelines. Review blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to verify accuracy and facilitate smooth execution of tasks. Monitor construction quality control measures, ensuring compliance with specifications, OSHA standards, and safety regulations. Maintain accurate documentation of project activities, including daily reports, inspection logs, and change orders. Perform site layout as needed for onsite supervision. Assist in managing project budgets, tracking costs, and supporting procurement processes using HeavyBid or comparable estimating tools. Requirements Proven experience in construction management with a strong background in supervising on-site teams and managing multiple subcontractors. Familiarity with construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, or similar platforms. Solid understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, blueprint reading, and construction estimating processes. Knowledge of contracts administration and ability to interpret technical schematics and specifications. Hands-on construction site experience with a focus on quality control and safety compliance; OSHA certification is preferred. Proficiency in using tools like ohmmeters for electrical testing or other relevant instrumentation is a plus. Strong management skills with the ability to lead teams effectively while maintaining clear communication across all project stakeholders. $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
