Position:

Assistant Volleyball Coach at Ruidoso High School

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED; licensed instructor preferred.
• Valid New Mexico Coaching licensure or eligibility.
• NMAA Coaching Certificate required or eligibility.
• Must demonstrate a willingness to work in a cooperative working environment.
• Strong reading, written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
• Preference given to certified or classified staff.
• CDL is preferred, or willing to obtain CDL Responsibilities
• Primary duties include assisting the head volleyball coach.
• Work productively as part of a team.
• Other duties as assigned.

The physical demand and work environment described represent the regular requirements to meet the essential functions of this position. Required to lift or carry classroom supplies, textbooks, furniture, and equipment to a minimum of 35 pounds; b. Required to maintain composure and avoid inappropriate displays of emotion; c. Required to sit, stand, bend, stoop, reach, grab, pull, hear, see, and speak on a daily basis; d. Required to perform repetitive physical tasks such as computer keyboarding, writing, and reading; e. Required to monitor students in a variety of locations including those with noise, activity, inclement weather; f. Sitting, walking, standing are a regular requirement; g. Flexibility of bending and twisting at the neck and truck are a regular requirement; h. Occasional travel in school owned or leased vehicles while supervising and assisting students may be required.
