We represent claimants throughout the disability process and are committed to providing compassionate, thorough, and effective legal representation. We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join our team. --- Position Overview The Associate Attorney will manage a Social Security Disability caseload from application through hearing and appeals levels. The ideal candidate is organized, client-focused, comfortable appearing before Administrative proceedings, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who wants hands-on litigation experience, meaningful client interaction, and long-term growth within a specialized practice area. Responsibilities
  • Handle Social Security Disability cases at all stages of the claims process
  • Prepare clients for hearings before Administrative Law Judges
  • Conduct hearings via telephone, video, and in person
  • Draft legal briefs, pre-hearing memoranda, and appeals
  • Review and analyze medical evidence and vocational records
  • Communicate with clients, medical providers, hearing offices, and experts
  • Work collaboratively with paralegals and support staff to develop cases
  • Maintain accurate case documentation and meet deadlines Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
  • Licensed attorney in good standing (New Jersey preferred)
  • Prior Social Security Disability experience strongly preferred
  • Strong writing, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage deadlines and a high-volume caseload
  • Compassionate and professional client communication skills
  • Experience with hearings and legal drafting is a plus
Pay:
$100,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
